The Science Leadership Award recognises talented young scientists and students who are at the forefront of their fields, those who are hoping to create change for the future.
Director of Science Education at the Australian National University, Prof Barbara van Leeuwen says, “We’re very pleased to be supporting the next generation of leaders with our Australian National University Science Leadership Award.
At the ANU we are looking to the next generation of young scientists to inspire solutions to the most critical issues facing the world in the 21st century.”
Nominate a young achiever you know aged between 12 and 28 in any of the following categories:
* The AustralianSuper Career Kick Start Award
* The Santos Indigenous Achievement Award
* The Australian National University Science Leadership Award
* The Coffee Club Arts &Fashion Award
* The Bartercard Leadership & Innovation Award
* The Who Printing Environment & Sustainability Award
* The Freemasons of NSW & ACT Community Service Award
Each category winner will receive $2,000 for their contribution to their chosen fields of endeavour.
The overall winner will be selected by the judging panel and will be presented with another $2,000.
Winners will be announced in Sydney at the Gala Dinner Presentation at the SMC Conference and Function Centre, on Saturday March 21, 2015.
