The home side shot out of the blocks and immediately piled the pressure onto the Jets, creating a host of chances early.
That pressure paid off, with the Victory opening the scoring in the 23rd minute through Rachael Quigley, who pounced on a rebound, after Lisa De Vanna's initial attempt was saved by Jets keeper Hannah Southwell.
Eight minutes later it was 2-0 to the home side, with Matildas star De Vanna again heavily involved, with her cross finding Beattie Goad, who finished well to edge the Victory futher in front.
Any chance of the Jets getting back into the contest were snuffed out within the opening sixty seconds of the second half, with Quigley grabbing her double, after yet another assist from De Vanna to make it 3-0.
The rout was then completed in the 69th minute when Quigley added her third goal of the game, ensuring a hat trick and making it 4-0.
