Members hit the water in pursuit of the morwong goblet and men’s and women’s prizes.
The weather was cold, but fine, and 13 members, 10 men and three women, weighed a total of 52 fish.
In total, 11 flathead, six salmon, 11 morwong, two pigfish, nine snapper, four nannygai, five blackfish, two whiting, a bream and a tailor were caught.
Once again, no juniors weighed fish in, but the club is confident that the newly adopted rules – printed last week - will encourage more junior participation.
David Greenhalgh collected the last weight-based goblet with a 1.47kg morwong.
Tamara Whitehead won the women’s rock and beach with an 863-gram salmon and the lake and estuary prize with a 343-gram whiting.
Rachael Kennedy hauled in a 1.241kg morwong to win the ladies’ outside prize.
Paul Brown won the men’s outside and rock and beach divisions with a 1.845kg snapper and a 1.298kg salmon respectively.
Rod Federer reeled in a 474-gram blackfish to win the men’s lake and estuary prize.
A trout was not caught and the mystery weight jackpots for next month.
Janine Campbell was the turkey of the month for washing David’s hearing aid.
All standing records have been retired and the slate is clean for new length-based club records.
