“We’ve had a new gate fitted and the cattle yards upgraded at a cost of approximately $3000 for the ease of students working with cows and for their safety,” Mulwaree High School agriculture teacher Callie Jessep said.
“We’re also in the process of upgrading all our agriculture infrastructure to make it more sustainable.
We also want to start showing cattle on a small scale soon, and so if the students can build up their cattle handling skills, that will be a bonus.
I would also like to thank stud breeder Renae Robertson, who provides us with the cows.”
