South Coast nominees included: Peter Lloyd from Basin View (who has connections to Goulburn, as patron of the RSL Sub- Branch and having attended Anzac Day services there for a number of years); Robyn Wright, Myril Bunt and Edith Fleming from Moruya; Bruce Fagan from Shoalhaven Heads (for services to the martial art of judo); Elaine Spring from Mollymook Beach; Doreen Rash from Ulladulla (for her service to veterans, their families and the community); Patricia Yates, late of Ulladulla (who received a posthumous OAM for service to the community through music); and famous musician and Pambula resident, Frankie J Holden.
Southern Highlands residents to have received honours were: Ernie Walker from Penrose (for services to veterans through the Rats of Tobruk Association of NSW); Jill Chauncy (for her serivices to people with disabilities and the community of Moss Vale); Dr Andrew Ford from Robertson (for his services to music composition and as an author and radio broadcaster); and Catherine Constable from Burradoo (for her service to the Southern Highlands community).
In the Southern Tablelands, recognition went to: Braidwood resident Jill McLeod (for service to the community of Braidwood) and June Field from Yass (for her service to the community of Yass).
