A Draft Study and Management Plan into the flood risk posed in Crookwell, Gunning, Taralga and Collector is currently on public exhibition. The Study, prepared by Lyall and Associates, in consultation with Upper Lachlan Shire Council, the Office of Environment and Heritage and NSW SES, assessed the impact of flooding in the villages and reviewed Council’s existing policies as they relate to the management of flood affected land.
