Marine museum solves mystery beach discovery

The mystery surrounding the remains of an unidentified creature washed up on Greenglades Beach at Wonboyn on January 8 – as reported in Town and Country Magazine on January 18 – has been solved. Jameson, 6, and Evelyn, 4, Rogers made the intriguing discovery. Resident and author Susie Sarah enlisted the help of the CSIRO, Eden Marine Discovery Centre, Facebook and the Magnet. “The Marine Discovery Centre identified it as the head of a stingray,” Ms Sarah said. “It certainly had lots of people thinking.”
