Police enforcement is underway in the areas of Bungendore, Tarago and Lake Bathurst and will continue until June 2.
Police are watching for motorists ignoring flashing lights/signs, speeding near level crossings and illegally using a mobile phone.
“I want people to remember the simple rule, that ‘Tracks Mean Trains’,” said campaign coordinator, acting Inspector Mick Timms.
