Pinewalla Poll Dorset stud will conduct its 19th annual sale at Pinewalla, Crookwell, on Thursday, November 23.
The change of date is due to the first Cross Ewe sale being held on Monday, November 27 at Yass.
The ram draft this year looks extremely well across the three breeds displaying the muscling and soundness we continually strive for in our breeding program.
The stud is Brucellosis accredited, Gudair vaccinated prior to 16 weeks and free of footrot.
“We do offer the reassurance of being Brucellosis free with all sale rams being blood tested prior to the sale,” stud owner Kim Weir said.
“In our breeding program, we have identified sires with above average Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs).
“These genetic traits are becoming more noticeable in our rams for prime lamb production.
“Feedback from our clients has been most encouraging with Pinewalla sired 2nd cross lamb selling to a premium at regional saleyards and OTH Abattoirs.”
Sale time is 2pm with inspection from 11pm on site. A light lunch will be available.
Outside agents will receive a five per cent commission, operating on behalf of clients, with delayed settlement also being made available.
