Bo-Bar Poll Dorsets will hold its 35th annual ram sale on Thursday, December 7 at 2pm.
The Bo-Bar stud was founded in 1975 and has breeding aims to produce quick growing, easy doing, structurally sound sheep – qualities that are important in today's prime lamb industry.
Bo-Bar rams are bred for productive longevity and to produce trade weight lambs that will continue to grow out for export weight if desired.
Bo-Bar believes that their moderate frame and doing ability helps to get lambs finished and off the property earlier, as seasons are tending to cut out earlier.
All 100 rams are paddock reared and very even throughout the draft, with the pick of the drop saved for the sale.
The sale will be held at Barwood, which is located approximately 23km north of Braidwood and 23km east of Bungendore on the Kings Highway.
Performance testing has been an intricate part of the stud’s past and all rams offered for sale will have Stockscan figures available on the day.
Bo-Bar is also Brucellosis accredited.
Jamie Ramm said that anyone who wants to get an idea of the quality of the Bo-Bar rams should look at the youtube videos of their previous sales.
