Lamb numbers lifted and included 22,500 new season lambs. The quality still remains mixed. There were plenty of light 1 and 2 score lambs.

Trade weights were in good numbers and heavy lambs were better supplied and there were a few more shorn new season lambs. Only a few old lambs were penned and Merinos were very limited.
The market was firm on the unshorn lambs and $4 to $5/head dearer on shorn lambs.
Restocking 2 score lambs were a few dollars cheaper and sold from $97 to $128/head.
Medium and heavy trade lambs sold between $138 and $158/head.
Heavy lambs sold from $153 to $172 for the unshorn lambs and to $180/head for shorn lambs.
Old lambs reached $211/head. Carcase prices averaged between 630c and 680c/kg cwt. Hoggets sold to $156/head.
Mutton numbers increased and mostly ewes were offered. Quality was mixed with a few more light sheep.
The light and medium weights sheep sold firm to $4 easier with medium weight ewes $76 to $118/head.
Heavy sheep were up to $10 cheaper with crossbreds $119 to $145 and heavy Merino wethers $134 to $140/head. Carcase prices made from 440c to 475c/kg cwt on average.
