The 2 score lambs to restockers sold from $76 to $123/head. The better finished medium and heavy trade weights made between $6 and $10 cheaper and sold from $117 to $147/head. Heavy lambs were also cheaper selling from $150 to 169 with a handful of extra heavy lambs reaching $170/head. The best of the hoggets reached $140/head.

Mutton numbers lifted and the quality varied with plenty of light 1 and 2 score sheep offered. Heavy weights were back in volume. The market was $6 to $12 cheaper. Medium weight ewes sold from $70 to $114/head. Heavy crossbreds sold from $118 to $133/head. Merino wethers reached $136/head.

Cattle numbers were steady but the quality declined. Prime cattle were limited for trade buyers. Yearlings made up the bulk of the yarding and feeders were active on most. There were a few weaners penned and grown cattle were in short supply. Around 160 cows were offered. Not all the usual feeder orders were operating.

Weaner steers sold to a dearer trend from 316c to 346c/kg. Feeder steers eased on quality and competition reduced 10c to 12c with the medium and heavy weights selling from 260c to 290c/kg. Feeder heifers were firm to 2c stronger selling from 242c to 268c/kg. The few trade cattle lifted 6c to 8c for the heifers and averaged 12c dearer on steers selling from 260c to 290c/kg.

Grown steers were limited and sold from 230c to 268c and young grown heifers were firm reaching 260c/kg. Lighter cows showed an increase of 12c to 15c selling from 150c to 188c/kg. Heavy cows gained 4c to 7c selling between 182c and 212c to average 205c/kg.
