The rules replaces 1981 regulations, and govern wine exports from product, shipment and licencing perspectives.
WFA CEO Tony Battaglene said the regulations provide greater powers of enforcement, remove red tape and broaden the scope of Wine Australia’s regulatory powers to protect the reputation of the country’s wine exports.
