Expectant and new parents living in rural areas will soon have better access to perinatal psychological counselling. The NSW Government has now invested $270,000 in Gidget Foundation’s ‘Start Talking’ program.

Perinatal depression and anxiety is often experienced by women during pregnancy and the year after birth. New fathers are also vulnerable. Funding allows for seven video call with a psychologist.
