THE Cootamundra Saleyards and Associated Agents yarded 2951 sheep and lambs at its fortnightly sale, which was up about 400 on the last sale.

The market consisted of 800 new season lambs, 700 old lambs, and 1451 mutton.

With the dry times continuing there was an increase of mutton sheep, and as per usual each agent had four to five lead pen of lambs

Once again there was limited re stocker interest.

Top price of the day and another yard record for Cootamundra was a pen of XB old lambs supplied by John Cameron of Dirnaseer that made $270.

With an estimated CW of 28kg and wearing a small $3 coat they came back at $9.50kg CW and went to Fletchers International after spirited bidding.
