For the first time ever, multiple Golden Guitar winner Pete Denahy will be joining the 34th Bungendore Country Music Muster in 2019.
The annual weekend event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 2 and 3 at Bungendore Showground, with over 24 great Australian country music artists putting on a fantastic show.
Alongside Pete Denahy, entertainer Rodney Vincent will return for another year bringing to the stage his unique blend of country, comedy and storytelling that never fails to entertain.
The weekend promises a fantastic line-up of Australian bush balladeers, including the finalists of the 2019 Stan Coster Australian Bush Ballad awards, and guest artists including the wonderful Owen Blundell, Keith Jamieson, Ernie Constance, Di Lindsay and Peter Simpson, Justin Standley, Terry Gordon, Brian Letton, Jed and Trudy Hintz, Kate Daniel and Alisha Smith.
Supporting the artists and entertainers in their own right are two great country music bands, The Bungendore Muster Band led by Lindsay Waddington, and the ever-popular Peter Coad and the Coad Sisters Band.
The muster will recognise three outstanding bush balladeers at a plaque ceremony at 3pm on Friday, February 1 at Bush Balladeers Place, Bungendore Park.

Muster-goers are invited to join in and celebrate the outstanding contribution made by Owen Blundell, Keith Jamieson and Ernie Constance to the Australian bush balladeer industry of Australia and the Bungendore Country Music Muster over many years.
On Saturday, February 2 the village of Bungendore will host the muster busking competition, with $1000 in prize money and the opportunity to appear on the muster stage.
In the afternoon the music moves to the showground for the 1pm start of the All-Australian Country Music Festival with an exciting line-up of Australia’s country music artists and musicians.
At 8pm Saturday night the 22nd annual Stan Coster Australian Bush Ballad Awards begin with performances from the finalists of the 2019 awards and announcement of the winners for 2019.
The show promises to be a true celebration of the Australian bush balladeer and the music of Australia.
On Sunday from 10am, award winners and guest artists return to the stage for the gala showcase with entertainment right through to 6pm.
The Bungendore Farmers Market is open on Saturday morning in the Saint Philips Church grounds and a family hoedown is planned to follow, which promises to be lots of fun for Bungendore locals and visiting families to celebrate the muster weekend.
