On Sunday November 11 we held our annual Allen Cramp and Clem Rowe Memorial Shoot, with a record number of 114 of the best shooters from all over the state turning up to battle it out for the top prize money on offer.
The ideal 26-degree day brought out great scores all round in every grade.
With the barbeque grilling in the background and a slight afternoon breeze picking up, it seemed no one stood a chance against Yass shooter Matthew Patmore, producing a nail biting 150/150 to take home the overall Highgun title.
The other Highgun Grade winners were Steve Caltabiano (AA), Manual Gomes (A), Gary Rootes (B), Mark James (C), Piper Michie (Ladies), Darcy Maloney (Junior), and the combined winners of Veteran were Fred Twarloh and Don McMillan.
A monster raffle was also organised by the club. There was a wheelbarrow overflowing with all sorts of prizes donated by local businesses. A Sydney shooter, Troy, was the lucky winner.
We would like to congratulate all winners and thank all shooters, especially those who travelled.
We hope to see everyone back next year.
