Lamb numbers increased and the quality was mixed. There were a few good trade and heavy lambs but there were many secondary lambs penned. About 350 new season lambs were offered. Merino lambs were limited and the market sold slightly cheaper.

The small number of new season lambs that sold to restockers made from $126-$167, with the lambs to the trade selling from $171-$189/head. The 2 score old lambs were firm to make from $114-$128, with the medium and heavy weights easing from $3-$4 to sell from $146-$182/head, averaging 795c/kg cwt. Heavy lambs to 26kg made from $184-$223, averaging 820c/kg cwt, and extra heavy lambs sold to $270/head. Merino trade weights sold from $135-$193, averaging 750c/kg cwt, and hoggets sold to $217/head.
Mutton numbers eased and the quality was good, with prices seeing improvements. Medium weight ewes sold from $121-$159/head. Heavy crossbred ewes sold to $207, with Merino ewes making to $222/head. Most of the mutton averaged from 580- 640c/kg cwt.

Numbers were steady and the quality was plainer. There were a few well bred and weighted cattle, but most were light weights and lacking condition. Young cattle made up the bulk of the yarding with only 90 cows offered. The few good cattle to feed were firm and trade cattle lifted 8-10c/kg, while the lighter and plainer crossbreds were cheaper. Cows were also selling to a cheaper trend.
Weaner steers made from 258-276c and heifers made from 231-253c/kg. Vealers sold from 275-300c/kg remaining firm. Medium weight feeder steers sold from 260-320c and heavy weights reached 328c/kg. Feeder heifers sold from 230-280c/kg. Trade cattle made from 270-300c, up 8-10c/kg.
Best of the heifers reached 290c/kg. The 2 score cows were 14c softer to sell from 155-208c, and the heavy weights were 10c cheaper, making from 208-258c, averaging 240c/kg.
