The Springwaters Poll Dorset stud will offer 180 rams at its annual ram sale, on-property at Corcorans Plains in Boorowa on October 4.
The stud says they are committed to breeding rams with an absolute focus on the profit drivers for their commercial clients. Early maturity, heavy muscling, consistency and constitution are the primary breeding objectives.
"Springwaters rams are renowned for their high growth rates at an early age, making them ideally suited for sucker production, but maintain market flexibility ensuring producers have options at sale time," said co-principle Dane Rowley.
The 2019 flock rams "have been finished on grass, without grain supplementation, ensuring purchasers can be confident that the muscling and carcase shape in sale rams will be displayed in the progeny," he adds.
"The 2019 sale draft features the first progeny of our exciting home bred sire Pocock. The Supreme Prime Lamb Exhibit of the 2017 Sydney Royal Easter Show, Pocock has passed on his muscling, structure and carcase attributes to his offspring.
"Pocock continues to be widely used throughout the Poll Dorset breed for his unmatched phenotype, combined with the commercial qualities stud producers are aiming to pass on to ram clients. Popular sires over the last few years will once again be represented in the sale, notably SW310-14, who has sired over 110 rams sold through our last two on property auctions, and Abelene Park Investment, purchased for $24,000 in 2016."

The Supreme Poll Dorset from this year's ASWS in Bendigo, Springwaters Guinness will be on display.
"He will be the next elite ram to join our sire team this spring."
The Rowley family supply rams to producers throughout the state.
"We focus on breeding commercial rams. It's nice to come up with a few elite animals, but for us, it's about putting together a line of rams from lot 1 to lot 180", Mr Rowley said.
"We are selling more rams to clients who take a very professional approach to prime lamb production, and they are giving us a lot of feedback that helps us align our breeding program with their bottom line".
2019 represents 40 years of stud breeding for the Rowley family and Springwaters.
It's a milestone the stud is both proud of and thankful for.
"You can't continue to breed stud stock without the support of your clients. The relationships we have built over 40 years are amazing" said Mr Rowley.
The Rowley family would welcome both current customers and any producers involved in the prime lamb industry.
"The lamb industry has a really optimistic outlook. We want to provide our clients with an opportunity to have a look at the next group of rams we have available. It also offers producers who haven't bought our rams before a chance to inspect our sheep, to come to the sale and have a look at what we have to offer," said Mr Rowley.
