The Bong Bong Picnic Races will return to Wyree on November 22 for another year of racing and fashions on the field.

The Bong Bong Picnic Race Club was formed in 1886 and was first held at Throsby Park.
This year will mark the 60th anniversary of the races held at Wyree as well as commemorate the life of David Goulder, the former Bong Bong Picnic Race Club Chairman who passed away in December 2018.
There will be more than 80 marquees at the six race event, all of which have been fully booked.
Peter Hailes the Bong Bong Picnic Races secretary and manager said that he was hoping for a large turnout despite the drought conditions.
"Fingers crossed we will have a lot of horses," he said.
"Other regional horse races have had to be postponed due to numbers.
The drought conditions has affected the Bong Bong Race course and the ongoing preparation.
"[The drought] has affected us to the extent that the course is drying out.
"At the moment it's a good three but we prefer a good four [for grass coverage]. We either need more water before the day or the course will be slightly harder.
Tickets to the event a through memberships, and members may also bring guests along with them.
"It's not hard to get membership. We want members and their guests to enjoy the day.
Peter also issued a warning for those who wanted to use the races as an excuse to party.
"Don't come to cause trouble, this is no longer the 80s"
Nominations for each race are currently open and will close on November 18. Acceptances will be announced on November 20.
