All the tried and noted exhibitors from stations near and far gathered in Bowral overnight to put on a weekend filled with farm fun and festivity.
Exhibitors from the Southern Highlands, Yass, Goulburn, the Illawarra and more set up stalls and put on a show for attendees.
Chris Hawkins and Bert Barrass from Southern Cross Cattle in Yass had two very unique animals on show.
Chris and Bert have developed a new breed of beef cattle.
They said the small-statured breed was bred for the small land holder who may also have minimal livestock experience.
Chris said the Southern Cross breed was easy to handle and had unique black/white and red/white markings.
In addition to exhibitors, the folks from Hawkesbury Kelpie Stud put on a working dog demonstration to the delight of young and old alike.
Reptile shows, pig racing and more kept crowds entertained throughout the weekend.
The annual Small Farm Field Day was held on February 1 and 2 at Bong Bong Racecourse in Bowral.
