But as they say, the show must go on and the South Coast and Tablelands Youth in Ag Movement has come up with an innovative way for those who may have prepared livestock etc for this year's events but missed out to still compete.
The group has orgnanised an Online Agricultural Show catering for all sections of a usual show, with a variety of classes that anyone can enter as well as Youth Showmanship classes specifically aimed at engaging the youth in the group.
Entry is free, anyone can enter, no matter your age or experience.
It is all about having fun, while learning more about your own exhibits and those of your fellow show movement enthusiasts.
So far more than 350 entries have been received.
The aim is to celebrate the agricultural show movement, and to keep people interested and passionate about their discipline in the show movement and even to try something new.

A wide variety of sections are available, including dairy and beef cattle, horses, other livestock, poultry and waterfowl, pavilion/homestead produce, show sports, pet show, photography and essays.
Each section will be judged by a panel of three judges made up of NSW Junior Judging Winners, local and national judges who have supported the Youth Programs, the 2020 and now 2021 Rural Achievers and Showgirl finalists, local show presidents, ASC representatives and RAS Councillors.
Judges will judge photos and videos of livestock and baked goods.
However, winners will not be eligible for the Sydney Royal.
Entries close this Friday, May 15., with the judges' results to be released, on Saturday, May 23, and the winning entries will be published in a series of posts.
The judges' feedback and Facebook live videos will also be released.
