An Albury-based family of ducks remain at large after evading capture during a low-speed police foot pursuit at the border checkpoint this weekend.

Police first detected the Albury-based family at the Wodonga Place checkpoint and engaged a low-speed foot pursuit.
Police have released video footage of the incident.
Officers followed the mother and ducklings across multiple lanes, directing and stopping traffic accordingly.
After a number of ducklings became stuck, unable to jump the curb, officers directed them to a nearby driveway.

Faced with a lower gradient the ducklings were able to reunite with their mother.
The group were last seen in Noreuil Park, Albury heading in the direction of the Murray River.
The family remain at large but are not considered dangerous.
It is not known if the family had border resident permits, though they appear to have stayed north of the state line.
