Three people, including a young child, died in a single-vehicle crash near Ulladulla early Saturday morning, while a person was airlifted to hospital.
Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway at Lake Tabourie, about 13km south of Ulladulla, about 4.30am to reports a Honda Accord travelling north left the road and hit a tree.
The female driver, and two passengers - a man and a young child - died at the scene. They are yet to be formally identified.
A fourth occupant, a male passenger, was airlifted to hospital. His condition is not yet known.
Only one lane of the highway was open under stop/slow traffic control near Weymouth Road.
The crash site has been cleared, and all lanes of the highway have reopened.
Traffic has returned to normal through the area.
