Well it seems he’s hit a spot of bother after leaving the club at the end of last season.
His new club didn’t end up fielding a seniors side so he was left team-less.
So he’s now put himself on British ebay as a “1981 Antique Ryan McGoldrick.”
“There’s been 13 clubs ring up and show an interest,” he said. “I didn’t expect it to cause such a stir.”
When DPC president Steve Hogan was asked if a return to the red, white and blue was on the cards, he said he’d talked about it.
“We don’t deal in pounds, only in dollars,” he said
“It’s just Ryan being Ryan, but good luck to him.”
McGoldrick didn’t say no to a return.
“I’ve kept in contact with Steve (Hogan) and Josh Veivers and they’re doing pretty well under Quincy (Clinton Green) this year,” he said.
“My partner is due to have a baby within the week, so we’re holding off on any decisions until after then.”
